RocketSocial is a social media agency that mostly focused on Instagram and Linkedin. ( And yes, we have the same web designer )

As the RocketSocial team is mostly focused on Social media acquisition for their marketing, they never really wanted to invest in SEO or even learn anything about that.

But after a few weeks of activity and a few hundreds of dollars spent on Google ads, they decided to sign up for our premium plan.

At this time, they were only ranking on seven keywords: “freebie promotions,” “lazy activities,” and five other keywords that weren’t bringing them any targeted traffic.

With RocketSocial we can almost say that we started from scratch. No organic traffic, no keywords on the SERPs, and nothing optimized on-site.

Step 1 – On-site Optimization

Even if we are usually not doing any on-site optimization, we give several suggestions to RocketSocial to improve their keywords density.

We can create hundreds of backlinks; Google won’t rank your website higher if he can’t tell if your website is about dogs, medicine, or football.

Step 2 – Link Foundation

RocketSocial subscribed to our link building premium plan. So during the first month, we slowly started to create a dozen high-quality backlinks. It took three weeks to see the first results, which is normal.

As you can see in the graph above, we managed to create 111 backlinks on November 10th.
And you know what? The results were fantastic!
In just 40 days, we almost multiplied x4 the number of keywords RocketSocial was ranking on.

For Christmas 2017, RocketSocial was ranking on 218 targeted keywords, and 7 of those keywords were on the top 10 of Google search results.

In 2020 things are going smoothly with 540 organic keywords. We stopped working with Rocket Social in May 2020, and the peak was at 969 organic keywords.
And we are proud of that. The keywords we worked on were competitive, and their PPC was high.

RocketSocial managed to make $600k of profits for less than 4k of investment on SEO.
